As part of my university module, my team and I had the opportunity to create Marvi, a bold, 60s-inspired clothing brand that celebrates vintage style with a modern twist. Rooted in the rebellious spirit of the 1960s, we reimagine classic silhouettes with bold prints and vibrant hues, designed for those who dare to stand out. Marvi is a celebration of self-expression, blending nostalgia with innovation to create timeless pieces that tell a story with a fearless approach to colour and design. Our Dubai launch brings Marvi’s bold, 60s-inspired fashion to both the stylish women of Dubai and the city’s global visitors. We aim to introduce high-quality, statement pieces in a dynamic, creative space that blends British heritage with modern expressionism. Marvi is more than fashion; it’s a celebration of self-expression and individuality, set to inspire confidence and creativity in the fashion scene.

From curating the brand’s aesthetic to designing the store layout using Blender, this project allowed me to bring Marvi to life from concept to (virtual) reality. I explored how physical retail environments can reflect brand identity, using Blender to craft a vibrant, immersive 3D shop floor plan that captures Marvi’s colourful, retro spirit. This was an exciting chance to blend creative direction, branding, and digital design tools – and it gave me a deeper appreciation for the storytelling behind retail spaces.
